Hi, I’m Joy! Over my 25 years working as a Registered Nurse in various roles within the NHS, I have had the privilege of working with people who have been touched by issues such as illness, pain, bereavement, anxiety or depression to name but a few. Over more recent years I have invested a great deal of myself in studying and training in massage, aromatherapy, reflexology, reiki, holistic therapies, wellbeing and psychotherapy. Each year with additional reading and courses, I continue to develop my skills and deepen my knowledge & experience into what makes us human. My years in the healthcare service awakened me to the understanding that we need to be making choices in the management of our own health and wellbeing, and the way that we think and feel can dramatically alter our journey. Together with personal life challenges, I have developed the knowledge, experience and skills to support you on your path to positive health and wellbeing. I am passionate about the belief that performing well and feeling happy in life, begins with contentment and peace from within ourselves.
Over time, stress, in its various guises, creates a chemical build up in the different layers and tissues of the body, usually sneaking up without us noticing. Eventually, unaddressed, these stresses will create a density, which can result in aches, pains, exhaustion, illness, stomach and digestive issues, mood and mental health problems, poor sleep...and the list goes on. In this fast modern life that we lead, we need to regularly slow down, process, decompress and find our own way to balance, release and let go. And like most things in life, change only usually occurs from a regular commitment to yourself. As a reiki master, aromatherapist, reflexologist and experienced massage therapist, whichever you choose, I offer a calm, welcoming space where you can relax and feel at ease, where the aim is to support you in feeling positive, balanced and content long after your treatment has finished. New Hall Therapies is a tiny boutique spa, where every moment of your time here is about you. Individual, private and exclusive, with ample, free parking. Offering treatments such as massage, reflexology and reiki to encourage your body’s own self-healing responses & influenced by Eastern philosophies, but adding in our own style, we are about holistic relaxation and healing. From a rustically styled and calming summerhouse, enjoy our outdoor spa pool and retreat packages for couples or friends. Think underfloor heated flag stones, wood burning stove, candles and deliciously exotic aromas and home bakes. Set away from the main roads, over a cattlegrid and down a country lane, come and find calm & peace and totally exclusive luxury. |
