We hope you and your loved ones have been safe during the pandemic and lockdown. Upon re-opening, there will be some changes and adaptations to our working practice in order to maintain a safe environment for us all.
As a previous NHS healthcare care worker and a health and wellbeing practitioner, emphasis on infection control prevention and strict hand washing has always been of primary importance. The cleaning schedule and infection control measures that are in place have been stepped up in accordance with the guidelines issued from the government.
I hope that the adaptations we make will not compromise your long awaited experience in any way, and that your body, mind and soul will be beautifully soothed and restored. Please don't hesitate to ask for any further clarification or advice.
On arrival, please wait in your car for me to meet you and bring you through to the summerhouse.
Please ensure that you have downloaded the NHS COVID-19 app, then you can check in with our QR code.
Please wear a mask upon entering the summerhouse as per national ruling.
Hand sanitiser will be provided upon arrival.
A lined basket will be provided for you to place your coat, bag and clothes.
I would ask that you sit in our stressless relaxation chair rather than the sofa.
Treatments will be limited for the time being, to one hour for individual visits only.
Massage treatments will be in the prone position (face down) to the back of body and feet, we will be avoiding any face, neck or head treatments for the time being.
Masks are not required for any prone treatments but for supine treatments such as reflexology or reiki, masks will be required.
I will be wearing a mask during the treatment, but I will not be wearing gloves, only at your request - (ref: "Unless crucial for the treatment, avoiding skin to skin contact and use gloves where possible".)
